Selfless
There are few times na sa buhay ko kinailangan kong maging Selfless. Yun yung tipong hindi mo iintindihin ang sarili mo at todo focus ka dun sa needs or sa nararamdaman ng ibang tao.
I learned, that sometimes, you will have to place yourself to the shoe of others, Yung tipong what if, ako yung nasa lugar nila. Then afterwards you will realize na you need to help out or you need to stop… basta iba yung mararamdaman mo. You will realize na, mahirap yung situation nung tao.
Madalas ang dali-dali natin mag-bigay ng advice sa mga kaibigan natin, then they will answer back like saying “Wala ka kasi sa situation kaya ang dali mo sabihin.”
Few people would say na I don’t know what I am saying kase si UMLEO selfless? When!? ehehe
Pero when it comes to my Family, sobrang selfless ako actually. Na hindi ko iindahin yung mga ibang bagay at talagang uunahin ko yung mga pangangailangan nila. Pamilya kase yun, and nothing can replace them sa buhay natin.
Sa love life naman, madalas selfless rin ako, hindi ko iniinda yung nararamdaman ko, na gusto ko masaya lang yung mahal ko. Na iniisip ko kung ano yung magpapasiya sa kanya. Pero syempre, hindi mo naman kailangang ipalandakan pa na nagiging selfless ka sa kanya. Kase para sa akin automatic na yun. Na kahit minsan nasasaktan ka na sa ginagawa niya, eh you learn how to swallow and just digest it.
Sa isang relasyon, kung ang isa ay kumakawala na, yung tipong you still feeling something for her/him, pero ayaw na niya at sinukuan ka na niya, you will need to be selfless and just let it go. Pero it doesn’t mean you’re a loser and you don’t love her/him any longer. It doesn’t mean that you gave up already and that’s it, period.
It simply shows how you really love that person by giving her/his happiness. That is being selfless.
Being Selfless is respecting the feelings of other people.
Pero, when do we need to be selfless? Hmm Actually, the question is, when do we have to be Selfish naman, and think of ourselves?
